Your words are yours, and no one ever finds out you used us. This is the plainest-English privacy policy we could write: nothing you paste is saved, sold, or used to train any model.
The short version
We use your essay only to score it and (if you ask) to humanise it — then it's gone.
We never sell your work or your data. We never use your essay to train any model.
Checking your score needs no account and no card — no trace, no one ever knows.
Anything you choose to give us (like your email) stays yours — you can ask us to delete it any time.
What we process, and why
Essay text you paste: processed transiently to produce your AI-likelihood score and, if you run a humanise, to return a rewrite. We do not retain the text after your request is served, and we do not use it to train models.
Usage data on your device: free-tier limits (scans, reports, lite humanisations) are tracked in your browser's local storage so the free tier works. This stays on your device.
Optional email: only if you choose to unlock the full report or get founding-member updates. It is stored to send you those things and nothing else. We never sell or rent it.
Basic, privacy-respecting analytics (aggregate page views) may be used to improve the product; these do not identify you personally and never include your essay text.
How the detector works
Our score reflects how AI-detection tools are likely to read your writing. Results vary, and no tool can promise a specific Turnitin, GPTZero, or Originality outcome — follow your own institution's academic-integrity policy.
Payments & your rights
Payments, when you subscribe, are handled by our payment processor; we do not store your full card details.
You can cancel in one click, with no surprise charges, and request access to or deletion of any personal data we hold. Contact us and we'll act promptly.
